do they offer internships

 

well everyone defines internship differently. do you want to only work here for 6 months or do you want to work here for a long time, but have us work with your school schedule? or do you want to work full time?

well actually i am looking for a coop cause i want to develop a nice long career out of it, i definitely dont want to work for 6 months and then be out of a job and i would like to work full time in the summers and part time while im in school that would def. work out for me

Join the navy reserves as an IT, get a TS clearance and some schools.
After that MANY doors will open when they will see that NAVY "IT" with active clerance on your resume.

So what do you do if places like best buy consider you over-qualified and refuse to hire you but the better jobs won't hire you because you don't have enough experience? How does one get into a job to get experience when nobody will hire without experience?

Laris I can see the reasoning behind your thinking, but there are also a lot of people with no work experience because they are in the same situation as me and it's VERY frustrating getting turned down for jobs WEEKLY that you KNOW you can do no problem, ENTRY LEVEL jobs that won't hire you because you don't have enough experience. People that can't get experience because nobody will give them the chance to get experience.
