How was the pay? Did you have fun?

 

pay wasnt that great I wanta say it was at least $6. your work TONS of hours in the summer, I remember working 7 or 8am -12am most weekends and the rest of the time was till closing. I worked on Roman Rapids and a few other rides as lead my second year kinda bounced around and filled in...

Its a GREAT 'summer' job. Meet new friends better if you work there with friends you already have (thats what me and a few friends from va beach did) and we had a blast. Met an ex-finace there lol Ummm what else. The 'uniforms' suck for most of the areas (roman rapids was the best with shorts and polo) everwhere else was 'period' cloths. Its laid back....

They dont pay OT so you can work 70hrs a week (I think my longest week was 74-76hrs something like that....I dont know it was all a blur lol) But the no OT things sucks ...

Perks.......

You get into the park free. You get into KD free, you get into water country free and any other Busch Gardens or Sea World is free....

 

You can work as much as you want to at Busch, I did have a good summer last year, but I quit...The managment sucks, and when you try to get a lead position, they will feed you some BS about how you're not qualified enough for the position, but yet, they want you to train the person they gave the job to...I worked skyride, I would do it again if I had rehire status and if I didn't have to get shit from guests and managment

 

That rehire status is bs.....I tried to go back a third year but cause I pissed off so many 'managment' types they were like you need to write a letter telling us why you want to come back and why we should let you and some BS like that .. thats why HR told me. I was like ummmm NO...... so I moved to NC and worked a slave camp oppps I mean gocart track for a few months lol

 

LOL..that's what some people have told me...Except they told me that I should put in there why I left, what things I can do to prevent it from happening again...I wrote one joking around, I put in it that when my crew gets blamed for a maintainence problem(Or when managment gives us shit when they should back us up) I'm just going to throw Him off my my ride inbetween Germany and England...lol..oh yeah, I worked Skyride btw
