You Virginian natives crack me up when it comes to snow. 
I remember two years ago, we got like 2" of snow and the entire city shut down! In Michigan, I remember snowmobiling on Thanksgiving day and skiing on Chirstmas. Now that's snow. Not like I'm complaining about the city shutting down though. 2" of snow = no work. 
and damn you for that. I might be buying a '92 4 door Civic for $500.
