this is a bad idea unless you own the company .. this could get a lot of people fired for helpin out worthless people on dragva (not everyone here is worthless)

while i do like the idea because i'm a cheap bastard, you do see where i'd be coming from when i say that it comes across as a little dicey, with the "i know someone who can hook you up" premise, and therefore can't officially support it.

also, i don't want to see people getting in trouble because of the potential of word getting back to the wrong people, because there is the potential for things to get out of hand quick.

if you were to say... start a website for this and accept people based on a referral system (and making sure to check against their referrals) and ensured that nobody is going to run off with someone else's money, then you know.. there's nothing that we can do about that, now is there?

whoa. i think we msunderstand. i said hook up. not illegal. in fact, not only do 90% of retailers have permission during the holidays to sell much lower than msrp, but i SPECIFICALLY SAID - NOTHING ILLEGAL.

this is exactly what i mean. just getting a good price, and excellent service. This is especially important when it comes to car deals. my first car purchase was ass because some idiot named dennis didnt do any sale follow thru.

God works in mysterious ways though, because before i bought a new civic, (daily at the time), he transfered from the Acura Dealership, to a honda dealer. as luck would have it, he COULD have had my sale, if he took care of me before. he approached me, and i gave him the shit face. and told him get the hell away from me.

that was potentially $1000-1500 in sales, and extended service he could have gotten had he just- kept up with a customer. you never know who you meet, or what they can help you with.

 

That bitch couldn't even put together a computer desk.
