yeah get some type of boost controller and you'll be good to go!

joe p MBC are like $25 on ebay. im sure everyone will vouch for how reliable it is also. had mine a few months so far and no probs.

i personally did a report for my college professor on "how a turbo works" just to learn about it... because it's TOTALLY different than all motor... PM me your email.... it's DEF an informative read.

also.... talk to people. ask people questions on what you need, what to do, etc.... before you buy it...

what instead of a "jet chip"

why not a:

boost controller
boost gauge
BOV
turbo timer

all just necessities.

excuse my ignorance but what exactly does it do, where does it go, what are the benefits and drawbacks.




and i tried to pm you projectcivic but im maxed out on Pms, so i deleted them all, and it still says i have no room.

a boost controller is simply just going to up your boost. however, put one on your car and the computer's just going to throw an overboost code and pull timing. you need to reroute your vacuem lines, and instead of a boost controller, just go with an adjustable wastegate actuator from forge or agp. it will replace your old wastegate actuator and allow you to run more boost. some people get a boost controller as well, but most people argue it causes an unneccesary spike in your boost and run there car w/o one. i own a neon with the same exact motor so i can help you out with advice if you need anything. id def. go with a mopar stage 1 pcm upgrade to keep from throwing any codes since you plan to mod. here is a link to the wga i was talking about. http://www.agpturbo.com/product.php?...cat=270&page=1
