You have a PT Cruiser and its not under warranty? I thought you got a 7/70 with that sh*t. Anyways, I know you've heard this already but if you didnt know that you were going almost 60 in a 35 zone and then 80 in a 60, then don't expect the speedo excuse to work in court. The judges have heard it before many times around here.

Not as bad as my 80 in a 65 with three violations. State cop busted for speeding up to get off a merging lane, busted me for being inspected (even though I had a good reason), so city sticker and no front plate (didn't have the mounting kit yet). Needless to say my CRX cost me over $300 for one motorcycle state trooper having a bad day.

My advice though is be straight with the judge. Normally they are more easy going if you tell them what is up.
