I live within a block from that Shell station. It has been robbed 3 times in the last 6 months, the ATM machine is currently in peices from the guys that tried to steal it one night, 2 people drove drunk through the front windows, and someone threw a cinder block through the side window. All this within the last year.
Oh yeah forgot to add, 2 times now since December someone has hit the light pole across the street. Once at 4am, hit the concrete pole so hard it threw chunks 2 blocks away, and sounded like a bomb went off for 2 blocks. The other just this weekend, a lady peeled out of the apartment complex with a wet road and plow, right into the pole. (which was replaced with fiberglass!)
OK area during the day, stay in at night !

Sorry, was not trying to bash the area, as I myself live here. A co-worker even bought a house on nesbitt, right behind those apartments. Just thought the "security of a garage" was fitting lol (which is usefull anywhere).
I live across the street from shell, and they are not 300k houses. Decent for the area, and your price for rent is pretty good. I was actually thinking about renting the house that was for rent on ruthven. 2 1/2 car garage baby !! But its taken now damnit. Its good living, at a right price in this area, but like you said with the apartments there, things tend to get a little roudy at night. None the less, thats a good price for rent. I know 1bed apts that cost that.

i live right behind the shell staion and i havent had any problems what-so-ever, been here for a year now and i like it, i think once you get heading toward hampton blvd is where it tends to get bad and than again on the other side of granby.....this neighborhood is not so bad though.....

i cant believe people even go to that gas station... every time i go by the price of gas is 10 cents higher than anywhere else around here.

Well that gas station is 10 cents less than the shell on granby behind farm fresh !
But I like wawa, cheap and never gave me problems.
Best gas station I think is exxon on the corner of holland and rosemont if your in VB.
