Horrible accident on Bonney Rd. 2 bikes involved
Dude, don't be like that.. You're acting high and mighty, but if I recall correctly (if that was your post about the shitty car show) you guys left the show, pulled out to an intersection, and indulged in a street race "launching race track style" right in front of the police. You can be irresponsible in a car, or on a bike, or on foot. It doesn't matter. They don't deserve to be "taken off the road" any more than you do. No one deserves to have their life taken from them over something like that.
If you're going 90 down 64 in traffic on 1 wheel then you're an idiot and I hope when you go you don't take anyone with you.
Like I said...if this was just a flat out accident then I'm sorry it happened.

Seriously, yeah, it sucks someone died but lets be honest, it sounds like the guy was cutting his on branch off the tree. They need to save these antics for the track. I've been riding for quite some time and it really urks me when I see someone, in no gear, going down the entire HOV lane on 64 doing a wheelie. These guys were doing something utterly stupid and payed the ultimate price. While the durango is at fault, why are they to assume someone is doing 100mph over 35 mph? Better yet, do you know what type of helmets they were wearing? Were they full face or skull caps as I see a lot of people wear? I just think these riders were being stupid. I'm almost positive that if they were going the speed limit, that man would still be alive today.
that's the most common motorcycle accident on the planet, someone making a left turn in front of the motorcyclist. it doesn't take much speed to kill you if you center-punch an suv.
i'm truly sorry for everyone involved.
and as for all you bike haters... kiss my ass, we have just as much of a right to be on the roads as you do. nine times out of ten, we're alot safer, and much more cautious of other drivers than you cagers EVER are. we have to be, since most of you all in cars drive like you're out to kill us. If you'd get the fucking cell phone out of your ear and pay attention, this sort of thing would be less likely to happen.
yes, i'm pissed, yes, i'm upset, this is fucking rediculous, and it never should have happened. over the last 6 years i've had at least one friend die in a motorcycle accident PER YEAR b/c some dipshit in a car wasn't paying attention.
as far as "speculation" of thier speed... if you didn't see it with your own eyes, then shut the fuck up. unless you have a vast understanding of the physics involved when a body hits an object at speed, and can make an EDUCATED "guess" at thier speed, then you have no right to say shit, and give the motorcycling community a worse reputation than we already have. we all know that SOME people do things on motorcycles that are illegal, but that doesn't mean we ALL do, and if you're going to base your judgement on us as a whole on the actions of the few, then you're just fucking stupid, and i feel sorry for you.

that was my whole point....
if you don't KNOW that they were speeding... then shut up and stop making assumptions (randomtask)
where you there? did you see it with your own eyes?
do you do accident investigation for a living?
no? then you don't have the knowledge or ability to make a valid assumption of thier speed.
i'm not claiming i do either, so don't start in on me. i don't care how much time you have at vir, or how many years you have seat time, you're not an expert. just because someone was on a sportbike CAPABLE of high speeds, doesn't mean they automatically WERE speeding.
My condolences go out to the those affected by the crash, regardless of who's at fault, noone deserves to go out like this.
Skrooz is right though, the number one cause of motorcycle accidents is someone making a left turn and pulling out in front of the bike. My brother saw the same thing happen at an intersection off of va beach blvd where a truck pulled out making a left turn in front of the motorcycle and crash. I've been through it a lot of times where someone ahead of me taking a turn is at a stop, then starts creeping up as if they're guessing whether they can beat me making the turn, then pull out, hesitate while they pull out as it just hit them cant make it and end up in my way so i have to slow down and let them go, this is while in my car and bike though.
