Im doing my head gasket tomorrow. It is a SOHC and it looks pretty easy. Ill be back on when Im done or stuck. thanks guys

Use the exhaust to crack the seal, and remove the engine mount and the belt shroud. Easy.

The head is off and the gasket looks good. hmm cracked block or warped head? The oil looks good but the antifreeze looks like coffee. hope its the head!

Replace the gasket and put it back together.

Yeah the gasket looked good. looked like it was new still. I took the head to the machine shop and getting it resurfaced and pressure checked. 70 bucks but hopefully it will be worth it.
