the things on the exit ramps in the hampton area , that are like at toll booths that block the lane...there like on every on and off ramp....anyone know what the deal is with that ? I was thinkin it could be to prevent bikes from running from the cops, but I would think that would be an expensive thing

i was thinking it might have somin to do with blocking the highway or certain parts there of if there is a hurricane?

 

I noticed them in Hampton on my way to work, but I also saw them in Suffolk on the way home...

 

They are on every exit from hampton all the way to richmond on 64 I dont know what they are for I look at them evety day on my way to richmond wondering wtf

 

yes they are in the event of a natural disaster so both directions of 64 can be used as one.

 

ooooo ok.... i didnt notice the actual bar thing till today, ive seen the rest being put up for the last couple weeks now. hmmm i could only imagine 64 during a natural disaster ..i can see the sign now... " HRBT 7-10 hour wait" "MMRC No traffic"
