Show was okay. Prices didn't seem much different than the shops to me.

I'm glad we went though, I liked being able to handle each gun that I wanted to without having to ask someone to show it to me and worrying about people being in my face asking if I wanted to buy it/needed help, etc.

they had a maverick 88 which normally sell for around 300-350$ up there for 450$ plus tax.

12ga. shotgun, with 18 1/2" barrel, shoots 3" shells. awesome alarm system for the house. thus the reason i purchased.

i bought my mav88 from wilcox down jefferson, and i payed 280$ plus tax. and that even came with a pistol grip stock, and lanyard.

them people have some crazy ass prices.

they have good knife sharpeners tho. i sharpened all the knives in my house so far.

I thought 88s had a suggested retail of like 200-250 depending upon the model?

Just checked impactguns and it looks like I am right...

So some of the dealers are fishing for suckers it seems like.

It was by far one of the best shows in this area, especially if you know what you are looking for.

Saw many nice, rare, reasonably priced guns that I've never seen at another show. There was this .45-70 there that made me cream my pants. The best .50cal for the money I've seen, a few very nicely done .308's, great prices on ammo as well. And they had the exact Mini-14 I've been craving for a while now but didn't pull the trigger on.

Shotgun prices were spot on if you knew/know what to look for. Damn good deal on a couple Mossberg 500's fully decked out with the nicest shotgun sights I've ever seen. Saw another 12ga. bolt action with a muzzle break and selectable chokes that was only $200.

Just need to know what to look for I was there for about three hours and didn't even get to see everything. It was a great show and HIGHLY worth going to.

Forgot about that.

I'd pay $20 to go back and see that again.

I didn't know you were into guns Cat!

Not anything wrong with it (because I am too), but I can't picture it for some reason.
