was it any better than the norfolk ones?

 

I can only assume it was mediocre at best. I intended on going, but after finding myself in a predicament with a striped oil pan drain plug, I was prevented from attending.

Oh, and for what it's worth, Hampton puts on the best gun show in the 757. I think most others would agree with that too.

there were more "accessory" vendors than anything. seeing a vendor with only jewelry and "fossils" really fucked me up. They didn't even have any knives.

it's cool to see shitloads of guns, and then the random booth with the guy selling the misprinted 500 dollar bill for 1200, but too much of that can make you feel like you're in a museum.

The way I look at it, Richmond Showplace shows are better than Hampton. it's the drive that kills me. Maybe I'll head up that way this time around since school will be out

 

The wife and I will be there.

hopefully I'll find my rifle...in the right caliber.

 

Let me know if you're going. I'll likely be looking for reloading equipment and be there as well. I'm just a hop from Green Top and Gander Mountain as well.

I am a member of Black Creek Shooter Assoc. out by the RIC airport. $5/day for guest, bring your own ammo and targets, it's covered but outdoors. Likely go blastin' after the show.

 

.22-250, that's my hard to find caliber. .223 is everywhere. Also looking for a brick of .22LR for plinkin'.
