You were reckless and speeding and you weren't even on a highway (not that makes it any better)

Get a lawyer, maybe you won't get you license suspended. You're fucked, I did 75 in a 45 got a 477 dollar fine and -6 points, with my lawyer. Im pretty sure I would've been suspended if I was w/o a lawyer

Only if the speed limit is 65 mph. I got 44/25 and did not get reckless. That cop was an asshole too and he told he would have written me for wreckless has it been one more.

 

Doesn't help, just saves time later. I had a clean record and the judge still gave me $150 fine, he didn't even want to see the certificate for driving course.

 

what is up with these posts that all these newbies put up about needing to get their speedo calibrated due to a reckless ticket. Do you think you are going to own the courtroom by handing the judge a document that says your speedo is 1-2mph off (as most are from the factory) and the judge is going to say "You got me there, dismissed" ?? You're going almost 70mph on Tidewater Drive. And the "dont judge me reply" what the hell do you think is going to happen by making a post like this, we all laugh because if you get caught you are just a statistic, not a victim. No one is saying you are a bad human being, we all speed, but you can't get defensive that we are responding to your post as you wanted us to do. Welcome to the spawn of dragva, my friend.

 

you were going almost twice the legal limit shame on you.. Your at a lose for a hook-ups anywhere around here, but you can try the speedometer calibration shop on tilden. Just down from All Aspects.

 

i guess nobody uses the yellow pages any more? calibration is only going to be like 5mph or so max. just use a public defender and make sure to have someone you can call collect.
