Default got scammed by slowsilvercivic

he was selling some civic parts on here and i bought a tranny from him, anyway it was pretty clean and all and when i got home i finished cleaning it up and i found the stamped numbers on the tranny. mine said p20 a000 and i went home and ran the numbers on the internet and found this out.

You can tell a DX/CX/VX tranny from a EX/Si by numbers cast into the housing. Just above the filler plug is a set of numbers.
P20/A000 is for DX/CX/VX
P20/B000 is for EX/Si
Other than that, tranny must be split apart to know for sure which one you have.

since i found this out he wont answer my phone calls or anything.
if any of you know him and are going respond by saying how nice of a guy he is dont even bother. he knows way more about hondas than i do and he used that to screw me.

I would drive to his house with the tranny and throw it on the hood of his car, pick it back up and throw it through his windshield. I would then take out some motor oil, unscrew the top and fling it all over his interior. When he comes out his door I would then proceed to giving him a beat down he would never forget for being a piece of crap who takes advantage of people..... Just my .02

That was just frustration of crooked people, I would be more rational than that. Don't need the vandalism charge. I would however call him non-stop for a week and if he never answered I would drive over to his house and beat on his door. If he didn’t answer that day I would go there every day until he did answer. If you are gonna rip someone off be prepared for what could come your way…. I don’t know the whole story though, for all I know someone else could of sold him the tranny and he was under the impression that it was what he sold it as.

he seemed cool as shit and was willing to help me out with whatever i needed ecause i told him that i was not much of a honda guy which was my first mistake, anyway we will see what happens. he mentioned that he was selling his shell to a guy in richmond and i wanted to make sure that this got out before he ripped of someone big time.

I'm confused. What exactly happend? I mean, it sucks you got screwed, but from what you typed was how one could determine what kind of tranny they have, and you have a DX/CX/VX one. Did he tell you it was for a EX/Si or something?

he may have given me the dx tranny as an accident, since they all look the same, but now he wont answer my calls so i cant ask him about it so i figured since he posts here maybe he will read this and finally call me back.
