Why would a Porsche rev on you and not race? That is when I cant understand buying a $40k car and driving it like a thousand dollar car. Now if they buy it just to have something nice, or for status. fine, I totally understand this. I also understand that not every corvette/WRX/M3 on the road is going to race every car with a buzzing muffler that revs on him, I didn't spend the money on the car so I cant be pissed on how he decides to deal with his investment.

 

The Porsche didn't rev on him, he rev'd on the Porsche, just like all those Civics and Cavaliers that rev on him and piss him off.

Maybe the guy in the Porsche was just thinking "listen to this kid, he thinks his 4-door sedan is some sort of sports car and wants to race."

Who's to say these other drivers don't frequently attend track days on the weekends?

I agree with BlazeWRX on the matter of people who would buy a great car but not open it up at least a little. If the Porshce was to own him, then he could have dropped it for even 20 MPH over and show him who's boss.

Not to say race everything you see, but most people don't even hit the speed limit.

On the same note, VR-4ever and myself watched a georgeous Viper GTS hand us our asses on 264, and that's the first time I had seen one of those get on it. Helluva sight to see and hear when a car lunges from 70 MPH....*sigh*...torque rules.
