Ya man, me and my friends used to fish in them all the time in highschool.
On a good day I remember me and a buddy pulling out consistent 2-4lb bass every 30 minutes.
And when the bass aren't hitting you can just throw on a small hook, some bread bait and murder the sunfish/brim.

I actually saw the carp over this past summer, freaked me out so bad because i saw something huge come to the surface and just dive back down. Took a closer look and it was a carp roughly 4ft long. I couldn't catch them though cause apparently they don't eat the same shit as bass.

I know its not the right time of the year but when it warms up Im up for fishing anytime. I live in Norfolk not too far from the Botanical Gardens. I go there a couple of times a week to walk my dog. The couple of times that Ive fished the area I havent caught anything. It seems a bit shallow. Anyways, if anybody is up for fishing or knows a good place and is willing to take along somebody who is new to the area give me a call. My name is Brad 703-801-3215

sorry, these are from my phone
then i caught a 2/3 pound pike, it was not expected, he also took one of the hooks on the crankbat....thats bastard, i almost batted him with the paddle, bitch ass started jumping towards me in the boat, i was like "oh hell no" and grabbed the paddle haha. so yeah, overall great fishing adventure that only took like 2 hours
