Long story short. I was driving home from NN, got off the hiway, doing about 30mph, the engine starting making death noises, about 3 clanks and it shut down. Pulled off to the side and tried to restart, it cranked a lil then stopped and then wouldnt turn over anymore. Pulled it home and tore into it and this is what I found.


all these rockers looked normal


pulled the intake


all the lifters looked normal


this rocker is sitting WAY too far forward


this vavle spring is loose and can be pulled up by hand


this pushrods wants to be a pretzel


something missing on the bottom of the valve here

the valve face is down in the cylinder and stopping the engine from rotating when the cyl comes up to TDC.
