Salt ponds area in Hampton. Catch a lot of large Croaker, Sea Trout, Flounder, etc. with plenty of places to crab

 

well heres what i can do. I have plans to go out fishing in the bay June 3rd. i know its a little ways away but i have a 23 ft bayliner and a few spots on this particular boat are open on said day. If anybody would like to go just hit me up and throw down a little on gas and i am sure we can work something out. I dont have enough gear for everybody though but i will see what i can do. this is of course that the weather is good.

 

I also say chesapeake bay bridge tunnel especially during rockfish season!!

I went out to the locks in Chesapeake (about 4 miles from where I live) and crabbed for 'bout an hour on Sat and didn't catch anything. At the rate I was going, I wasn't going to have any to eat so I bailed and bought a dozen from Chesapeake bait and tackle before they closed.

It seemed like a good spot. Lots a people out there. I'll probably just got there a little late in the day.

 

Count me in on some fishing, most of you are southside im assuming but I make the trip down there for rockfish all winter off the hampton R B tunnel. A lot of fish but not a reputable amount of keepers but fun times. I am now moving right next to the Chicahominy and there are some monsters out there "catfish, pike, so on and so on" Anyhow I like the idea of Dragva fishing meetings.
