Filipinos of the 757, I need your help!
I just recently got home from the Philippines and really miss the food there. I know how to cook some of it though, so im doing ok. Also I eat at Maymars alot and get tons of free food(perks of being a whiteboy that speaks tagalog). But the one thing I cant find which I love is SIOPAO! I would always hit up the SIOPAO CENTER almost everyday in Bicol and get me some good toasted siopao(not a big fan of the steamed) for 5pesos each. Anyone know where I can get this stuff here? Thanks for the help.
there's Mary's Restaurant here in Va Beach (corner of Princess Anne and Lynnhaven). They sell them by the bag. They don't stock pile them, but you can get them. Also try the local oriental stores. Sio Pao is not just a filipino thing, chinese make them (perhaps other asian countries?).
