the best advice I can give you is meet other evos and listen to what they have and go from there. Everyone has a different taste and opinions can come across biased.

Hmm, there are a lot of different exhaust systems out for the evo now. For a nice full turboback exhaust system on the evo I would go with a Buschur or Ams turboback (you can purchase a brand new full turboback for about 700-800 shipped). You can also mix match and perhaps go with a greddy ti exhaust with a helix downpipe and test pipe. Amuse also makes a good ass exhaust system and sounds similar to the greddy ti, but it is a little bit more pricey. If you don't wanna spend too much you can also go with a Fujistubo exhaust and mix match it with whatever downpipe or the helix full turboback (500-600 brand new). Anyway, like the guy said earlier you can go on evolutionm.net and check out soundclips on the reviews on which exhaust system is the best. I currently have the greddy ti with a helix downpipe setup and it is very deep and a little bit too loud

this is similar to how my exhaust sounds

Here's how the buschur turboback sounds with the magnaflow (I'd go with the new bullet muffler instead)

I also forgot to mention the Apexi N1 exhaust with a mixmatch combo w/ a helix or rnr downpipe, The apexi exhaust is really dirt cheap, but it's a bit quite

Another exhaust that isn't too pricey is the blitz nur which also has a deep sound

Here's the clip of the Fujitsubo exhaust at idle, it sounds deep but not too loud http://youtube.com/watch?v=uSbWf3cI7...elated&search=

By the way, not all of the exhaust systems are actually full 3 inches all the way through though. Some start at 3 inches but neck down a bit and have resonators. Go on evolutionm.net and search for the exhaust you might want or the exhaust 3inch beer can test and see which ones are full 3 inches.
