I have nothing but great things to say about their dyno service. We had a Mustang Dyno Day there about a year ago and everyone working the shop that day was top notch and very professional. They took great care loading/unloading all the cars from the dyno. There were probably at least 30 cars their going back-to-back and never had one issue.
Based on just what I saw that day, they are one of the few places I would let do any work on my vehicle.

To get him to suggest you take it somewhere else, I seriously think you had to be saying quite a bit more than just making a suggestion of using the tow hooks. Where your questions for him actually questions, or where they statements telling him that he was doing something wrong, or just lots of questions comparing his process to another shops process?

Yep. I take my police car there for brakes. Keenen set me up with brakes that perform fabulous. Pursuit after pursuit...finally a set of brakes that don't fade or fail. Not to mention the shock setup, I jumped the Z28 in a pursuit over railroad tracks at ~90. The landing was superb.
