Default Divorce/Custody Lawyers?

My sister is going through a divorce and the custody hearing soon, she wasn't going to get a lawyer since the guy is a tool and it shouldn't be hard to disprove his parental skills but he got one so she is kind of worried, we know plenty of criminal defense lawyers, but no one who is a Custody/Divorce specialist, any suggestions folks? would be much appreciated, we are not rich at all, but i still want a competent lawyer that isnt extremely pricey.

i know, its in newport news... were looking for something in the middle ya know? want decent but not hella expensive so some where in the middle.. i meen she holds 2 jobs, clean record, clean driving record, yada yada, she has been arrested for stupid shit before, holds no job, lives w/ mommy etc.. they have been seperated for well over 6 months ( not sure exactly ) and he has contributed SHIT to her, not a dime, his parents helped her w/ rent etc... so i dont see him winning anything at all, we just want some legal back up.

he would basically have to prove her unfit. Thats just about impossible. If she can provide a roof and such, he won't win. Trust me I been there. He would have to have quite possibly the best lawyer on earth to take the kids if she is squeeky clean like you say. him without a job and even able to take of himself makes it clean and simple.

The part that sucks is you have to pay someone to write a divorce decree. I was lucky and my ex and I agreed on almost everything. So you write it up, goto court , spend about 5 minutes with a judge and its done. The Judge really does rather have it be clean and simple. Seems like this would be next to impossible for her though with him being a tool.

The short of it is , I don't think she has much to worry about, if he can't come up with money to have his own place to stay then he won't be able to get crap for a lawyer.
