Directions? CANADA?!
Hey guys, ive been going nuts on google maps, google earth, and mapquest... what Im trying to do is find the best route to get from williamsburg, to Guelph, Canada. heres the kicker, because of the wilson bridge contruction, i need to get off of I-95 around fredericksburg to avoid being stuck in 4 + hours of traffic. any help would be greatly appreciated. I need the directions A.S.A.P! thanks guys.
At Fredericksburg, take Rt 17 north or an alternate route (as it is a common I-95 detour to points west) to Winchester VA. From there, you can easily find it on a map as it's just north of I-66w along I-81n. Put Winchester VA into Mapquest and it'll show you a good route through Pittsburgh PA then heads northward to Guelph, Canada.
Thanks a million guys, with your help not stock, this is the game plan...
I-95 till freddie burg and get off at fulmouth (aka rt. 17) take 17 to hwy 66 and 66 will take me back to I-70 completely bypassing all the DC shit.

Check out the traffic cams on www.wtopnews.com and their radio stations along the way as they have traffic reports every 10 minutes.
I'll be driving up that way not this weekend, but the next two. One of my friends is going up tomorrow morning. Travelling up there so often you gotta carry a good road atlas, know the radio station with good traffic reports, and know your alternate routes!
