I've known him for a few years and wouldn't expect that from him. I guess sometimes you really don't know people.

Too bad that he shot the girl too.

Obviously Rob had some mental instabilities. I just wish he would of got help before he took her life.

Does anyone really know anyone that they might think "hey ... I bet he'll kill someone one day!" ?

( other than psychotic ex-military or deranged rednecks )

Yes. I've known people who I thought were going to have problems eventually. In fact, I thought this about one kid I knew in middle school and he did end up nearly killing someone in our home town. My parents knew a man who was really odd, but they couldn't put their finger on it. He was married to a mutual friend of my parents. He ended up pushing his daughter in front a semi truck on the highway one day. He then jumped in front of another truck himself. She died, he didn't.

I always thought he was a little strange. Nice person, but strange. Looking back, it's a shame he didn't drown in the lake with his driving gloves. Would've saved the girls life...

Yeah, I've never known anyone that wasn't sick in the head to commit suicide. I think that's pretty much proof that he wasn't all there upstairs. I feel bad for the girl's family of course, but I also do feel bad for Rob b/c it's pretty obvious he was sick and needed help.
