Condolences to the people who knew the guy at Lafayette
Heard about it yesterday in school (Jamestown), and caught it on the news... hope his family is doing alright, from what I gather quite a few people knew him
he was on his way to school and hit a tree, car caught fire with him in it... i'm not sure where, i think somewhere near Jolly Pond but I'm not sure. That's just gotta be tough for the ppl who knew him
his name was david mClane, i played baseball with him for many years. Stuff like this reminds you, life can be taken away at any time.

damn that sucks a lot. I remember about 2 years ago when we had the vw meet over in williamsburg and we all cruised on jolly pond. Its a fun ass road but very dangerous.
david had the best damn Knuckleball i have ever seen.... he was always working on it.
and he was an absolutely AMAZING outfielder....he made everything look so easy.
his last at bat was a hit too.
