Dude, I can do it in a couple hours for 50 bucks. Let me know. You can be right beside me as I do everything so you won't have to rely on anyone else again if it happens again.

I am a certified geek (MCSE, CCNA, SCSA, CCNE), but an O/S load for Win XP is pretty simple - NTFS is the way to go...

ill be pming everybody interested in trying to help me out here... its apprecaited thank you.
what happen was i loaded up xp and then when it tried to restart before i got the desktop with no start bar or icons... then it was just locked.. no cntl alt del... or anything would make it respond.
ill boot the thing up again and tell you exactly what its doing or not doing.. because its been sitting for about 3 months now... as fr the trojan... to be honest i forgot.. i do remember that nortons tracked it down as a backdoor trojan exe. file... and i cant remember the location of it... im sorry.
