Default computer help...make a lil cash

Im looking for somebody who would like to either make a little cash or trade labor.
My problem, i have a puter i built December of 2002 and a week ago i got a bitch of a trojan that fucked me all up. I removed it and thought i was cool then the thing went down hill from there. trying to reload the win xp and reformat the whole thing didnt help cause now the thing gets me to a desktop but without any icons now and it does nothing. I had a programmer friend look at it but its not his thing he says to fix these types of problems.

Soooo... im looking for somebody to take it off my hands and make her work again. Getting it back bare with nothing but my operating system (winxp or 2000) would be fine i backed everything up already. I do have the discs for both winxp, win2000 pro.. and office 2000 and office xp... so you dont have to worry about that.

specs...
1.4 amd t
512 mb
40 gb
its not a beast but its my home puter and i need it back.

I can either one send it back to cali where my friends will do it or i can save the money in shipping and have a local person make the extra cash and save me the headache... or i can trade labor.. for mechanic work or electrical installations... im easy to do with so please let me know if anybody is interested thanks.

ya, but for home use, the difference is it will ask if you want to format w/ NTFS, i dont recommend it for basic home use. go with Fat32

the only reason you would ever want to use FAt32 is if you are dual booting XP with 98. MCSE

thats one aspect, but there are some programs that dont like ntfs as well, i dont remember distinctly right off the top of my head... granted this issue might not even be an issue anymore, its been years since ive done hardware or installs for a living. im thinking back to nt4.0 - when it came out.

yea, theres not many programs that have problems anymore b/c pretty much all microsoft systems are suggested and useing NTFS. And as everybody knows the home user thinks Microsoft is the only Os there is.
