Anyone use Cavalier for their cable and/or internet? Thinking about getting rid of Cox and getting either Cavlier or satellite. Cox is too expensive.

 

they dont have cable, they have telephone service......everything is the same as verizon just cheaper....they just sublease the verizon equipment and lines

 

Actually they do now.

Bad part is that it's web based through crappy DSL. Also, they have no HD and If your gonna use your internet and cable at the same time, it's gonna be VERY slow.

 

verizon has fios tv now so they might offer that now also

im about to move on the 15th and sign up for cox phone (got rid of the cell phones) and their internet, i remember back in the day playing unreal tournament (the first one) when I first got cox internet, it was a major step up from doom... hahaha i love the cox! and you can quote me on that... LOL

 

I'd get Fios if I were you. It's much cheaper and more reliable than Cox's shitty ass service. But I dont know much about Cavalier, sorry.

Cavalier offers their TV service over a second phone line. From what I've seen, it works about half the time. It also works like shit. It's pretty much only used in the ghetto when they have already ran up non paid bills with the other carriers.
Get DirecTV if Fios isn't available. I could never go back to cable, It doesn't compare to to Satellite, and can't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Fios.

 

Satellite is that much better than cable? Why, because more channels and/or better service?
