dude... calm down. not once did i say that i did not believe you. i just found it odd that there would be a Chrysler motor in a seemingly all Mitsu produced car. if you can find where posted that i didn't believe you or that i said you were lying, please show me. otherwise, drop it. thx

tech: what do u think about assembling the motor before putting it in.. ex: throwing the head exh/intake mani on and tensioning the timing belt? would it fit back in like that? i left the tranny in the car

 

not sure never pulled one like that.
i would leave the exhaust manny off. i like to leave the turbo in so you don't have to squeeze it around anything. little turbos make that easy but i can't go that route easily.

i would put it in how you took it out. ex: belts off leave them off

 

anybody got an ideas on loosening the crank bolt without turning the crank? i tried the old vise grip/breaker bar combo, and that din't work. any suggestions?

 

Need to know a good shop to take the car to for clutch and flywheel install... seeing as how the factory clutch didn't seem like it was holding all too well last time I took it to the track I figure since I should have some extra money when I get back might as well do something productive with it.

 

Well sounds like a good plan...I won't be able to make due to the whole 6 mos. deployment thing..... But maybe the next one. If yall decide to have another one in december sometime between the 16th and 23rd I could probablly make it to that one.
