yah, i love when people tell you that your not good enough, so go in the military. tell you what: 25 years later in the Army, i'm going to be a full bird or more, with 5-8 degrees from college, enough combat experience to make you shit like ex-lax was sold in pepsi cans. air force, they have gotten to the point where either they are in chairs, or they are in politics. the air force has become the pentagon's bitches, and they aint afraid to let it be known. the only real working forces in the air force are, mechanics, pilots, and janitors. correct me if i'm wrong. the rest of you burn 1200 calories a day, and 1100 is from PT at 0530. come on now. gah, I love my tank, and i cant wait to be back in that son of a bitch kickin ass. i'm gonna break records, and thats a guarantee. the army is for people like macguyver. the air force is for people like gary coleman. come on now.

Ok guys they screwed up my dates so i'm back and WILL be leaving this monday. But its good that i'm back for 4 days.
Look, the Army is a good branch. Every branch is good for something. Granted the lazy ppl go into the air force. But why not go into the air force. Its pretty sack as far as their boot camp. But there are many ppl in the USAF that are ment ALOT to the military. Me, i'm going to be an air traffic control person. Thats not by any means easy. No its not physical but it is one of the most stressful jobs in the world. Let me tell you something bout the USAF. Its the hardest branch to get into. Its not like the army that will take just about anyone that enters their office. USAF, has WAY more benifits and higher standers of living. Shit when i was at the meps center yesterday getting ready to leave, I have talked to every person that isnt going into the air force and they have told me that they tried to go USAF and didnt make it so they went army. Now the army is a pretty great branch (which every branch is awsome). Way before i decided to go air force, i talked to everyone and asked if they really like their job in which ever branch. I got nothing but praises from the Airmen. I mean get real. Would you rather LOVE your life and helping your country at the same time or hate life and regret ever wanting to help the country. Look if any of you guys ever think about the military go and see you have a chance for the air force. USAF's life of living is great for if you wanted to start a family. I just had to stand up for the air force. Now you other branches out there i'm excited for you. I know the other branches arent' for me. But more power to you. Its great to know that we're all here to better our country.

 

i guess it's out of the question to actually have to try and live a little hard. but i guess that comes from rich livin. oh well. maybe you should check the history of the air force, and realize where it started, and how sad it is now compared to the 50's. as far as i'm concerned, the only military that matters are the ones sittin out in BFE holdin a rifle, makin sure no one gets shot.

 

Thats your opinion. but this thread isn't a branch vs. branch thread...and i'm not trying to say that USAF is better than the Army. Different branches are for different kinds of ppl.

no. the military is for people who wanna work. the air force has become a constant failing in that respect. seriously. even the navy gets more respect from the world than the air force does. things in that "branch" need to go back to the way they were. for real. i had a gt score of 145. the air force wanted me. i told that air fool that i wanted to do real work. know what he said? your right. go to the army or marines, and keep it real. its sad when thats said.
