Also appears the average monthly fee is $150-$160, is that normal for this area?

There's a couple of places around here. I personally know of Linxx Academy because I go there (Muay Thai) but the guys there know their stuff.
I'm pretty sure some other people will chime in.

And AFAIK, that price range sounds about right.

Did some when I was in the ARMY but it was just getting introduced at the time. I have been out of it for along time but its always something I loved. I was going to go on tour with my buddy who is in the Philippines right now touring with Royce Gracie. Lucky bastard is there for the second time, he also went last year.

If the wife wasn't deployed its where I would be right now.

Only problem with HTC is their class is rather large, the purple belts do help A LOT...
Friend of mine started and within a month won an amature division championship..

I stopped but now he's testing..
