Theres a guy here in pensacola with a boosted tc and he wants to race... Im not sure of his turbo, but hes on the stock motor, what are their capabilities???

When was the last time you heard anything about a TC being any kind of fast? Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but they have been out for a couple of years now and I haven't heard of any being worth a damn. Id say he isn't pushing no more than 275-300 to the wheels.

well i dont know what he's boostin with. Toyota makes a stock supercharger for the Tc. The stock Tc makes 161hp (rated) and if you opt for the supercharger, its bumps it up to 200hp (~25% efficient, pretty sucky, but you get to keep your stock warranty). I'de say race him, I havent heard of any fast Tc's yet either!

i havent seen any local, i have seen quite a few write ups and everyone is saying that the stock tc motor is stout, that it has factory forged componets and piston oil squirters. they are saying 4-450 on the stock block easily, and i know of a few kits that are avail that will produce this, if i can find the article i will post this. and this wasnt some random stong motor, they had done 10 or more and this was right after the tc's had just came out but any way not saying that he would beat the evo but it could be a surprise

lol there is a guy out here with a white one turbo'ed...i ran him on 64 one evening in my N/A car. i pulled 3 cars on him almost instantly, an jus called it quits.....not sure if that helps.....but i thought it was a joke
