Unhappy Body Work

Can anyone get dents out of hood that was flown up into a windshield for cheap and possibly install hoods pins???

Im willing to bet this is my old car. OBD1 gsr, right? the dents are fixable, the damage didnt warp the pillar.

nah for my del sol b18a1 can fix my hood? I don't think takin a picture of it would show how messed up it is its not majorly servere.

I'd get the latching mechanism fixed asap, I had a hood pop on me doing 85 on the interstate. Now THAT was scary.

yeah i kno how that is so im goin with hood pins latch was shit so i pulled it out already got the pins

pins are a secondary measure, you should keep the latch or get it fixed/buy a new one...also, over time the road will loosen the bolts/nuts holding the pins down, too much play and wind will be able to exert enough force to lift it again. Thats how mine happened. Im lucky I even survived my hood accident, not a mistake I'd make twice, and shouldnt have made to begin with.

yeah hear ya on that bro well my latch is kinda bent in a werid way so im not sure if its usable or not

take the latch off and hammer it out(i think you have to remove alot of the front bumper&related items but I'd still just bend it back and be done with it).

ps, since yours is already out just take it to an autostore with a hydro press on premises if thats what it takes to bend it back.
