I ran into him on 264 when we did a few short pulls. Guy seemed cool, I think his name was Phillip. We went to my boys shop to get another car (Stage 2++ Neon) so we could all go run with the video camera. We get on the interstate and we both pull the Cobalt.... but this time... as soon as dude gets close to an exit, he jumps off asap with no wave, no see you later, no nothing. This after a half hour of conversation. Don't know if his feelings were hurt or he broke somehting....

anyone know this guy? Seen the car? Was a pretty strong Cobalt. Said he ran a 12.9 and put 305 fwhp down....

They have different stages of Cobalt SSs now? Cool.

 

Considering he lost to a St2 srt...it must of been one hell of a giving dyno.

 

The Neon is putting down in the 300's as well....

 

If on the stock turbo, it's on a dyno that's giving high #'s(otherwise he's big turbo or spraying). St2 is by far the worst pcm for dynoing(generally dyno's in the 260ish range)

and for reference, at 1 point in time, my srt was st2/fmic/safc2/tbe and dyno'd 267whp at Steen's.

 

SRT is stg 2 witch FMIC, SAFC2, TBE and alky and stiffer wastegate... car put down 293 on a Mustang Dyno.

Yeah.. we talked for a good 20 mintues and he seemed cool... I just couldn't figure out why he would have dipped out like that without saying a word to anyone... I mean... it almost looked like he was about to get into an accident as quickly as he hit that exit. Hope it just wasn't because he lost... tell him the guy in the stage 3 WRX wagon said whats up!

 

He dynoed at 255hp and 220ft/lbs today. I highly doubt he ran a 12's with his current setup.
