Best Sandwich Shops in the 757
The NY Deli Best Sammich Shop in Hampton Roads period
It's located in Williamsburg past the Outlet's between the Toyota dealership and The Pottery. My friend has been telling me about this spot for a while and we hit it up this past weekend. The building is an old Burger King which they totally renovated in and out (huge lcd's/plasma's, very clean, and comfortable seating).
I had a Hot Holly for around $7 and could barely finish half of the sandwich. They use top quality meats and fresh toppings. Not only do they have subs, but they have all the typical italian foods like pizza, calzones, etc. It's family run and well staffed.
I heard there are lines outside waiting for it to open sometimes and they are always busy.

I've been a few times, its like an overpriced subway, and IMHO not that great. Though the only thing I tried was the philly. I went to two different ones, (one on laskin i think, and one in chesapeake near my stepdads job) both times it was bland. Only thing I could do to save it was put some BBQ sauce at home because they were tasteless.
