I need to get the lips on my 2-piece bbs wheels repaired (curbage/ paint chips on all 4 lips and one dent on the rr). I'm also looking into getting all four wheels powder coated. I have looked around and found a handful of wheel repair shops and such around the VB area. I want this done right the first time but also looking for the best price. Any recommendations or referrals you could offer me with past experiences is much appreciated. I have sort of eyed "Wheel and Rim Repair" on Chandler Creek Rd in Virginia Beach, but don't know much about their reputation other than what they advertise.




note- I have searched the vendor reviews and couldn't really conclude my search with the related shops listed.

I never do, I bought the wheels used in that condition.

What kind of work did they do for you, if you don't mind explaining?

 

i need some wheel repair on my fikse's since the original owner liked curbs..

they are 2 piece as well

 

I've heard good things about the Jamaican shop behind Stock or Modified, forget the name right now. I have never used them personally however.

Also, you are probably looking for something local. BUT, if you dont mind shipping the wheels I used to work for a guy that works magic on machined wheels. (Prince Wheel Services, in Monroe, NC) It'd cost about $20/ wheel to ship....and then I think he'd charge about $90-100 per wheel to fix. He does powdercoating also. PM if you want his info....Or if local, I have heard good stuff about Wheel and Rim repair.

 

got an # or addy on how to get to them? ... any thoughts on them as opposed to the wheel doctor? i called the wheel doc to set up an appointment which i had to later cancel. since cancelling the appointment dudes been calling me like everyday to try and reschedule & make a package deal for fixing all my wheels. i dunno if he's hard up for cash or is up to sumthing shady....the deals sound good but make me a little cautious because he calls me so much. i have volk wheels btw
