If you don't feel comfortable................park a few rows away. Hell, even the god awfullest Neighborhood Dreamz cars have rolled in there. Most just laugh and point at the plethora of Pep Boys parts.
I don't pick apart your automobile, so I expect the same from you.
Not sure who the dumbasses are that would say that about your car. The older fellas like their domestics but many of them appreciate the work that goes into tuner cars ( I know I do). There are assholes in every kinda car crowd.....so don't sweat it.
Car shows are like drag, always an asshole who talks shit. Ignore him/her and talk to people who can appreciate the work that has been done. I see most everything w/ potential, not as a pos. (unless it really is) I have learned modesty goes a long way, so dont get too cocky and you will be ok. Especially since I drive a VW Jetta, i get enough grocery getter comments, or "hey did you steal your moms car?"
I drove by but being that I don't know anyone really I didn't feel in place.
I did see a few yellow C5s, though.
That and I had no idea how big of a car meet that was going to be. My car was all sorts of dirty and I felt like a child abuser driving in there with a dirty car.
