I saw it. Im a firefighter/ medic for newport news, first crew on the scene last night. yep, it was an impressive site.

wont comment on what happened, but i only hope those who saw it will be motivated to become more responsible and aware drivers.

i passed just as the tow truck was pulling up. the cops were there and had it all blocked off, and the ambulance/firetruck had just arrived, wich was prob you.

 

people will sometimes come to a COMPLETE STOP when trying to merge, instead of highway speeds, wich makes it easy for someone to let off or speed up just enough to let you in smoothly. when you take your license test, at least on mine, one of the questions is at what speed do you merge, and the answer is the same speed as the highway traffic.

 

Yea it was real bad tho....Looking at the suburban's roof where the driver sat made me very doubtful that they would have lived...How did they both end up like that tho?

the explorer was banged up like the suburban, but was backed into the guardrail while the suburban was completely flipped over? you know i saw an accident on 64E just before the HRBT, few days ago, and the front/top windsheild area was bashed in just like those two cars? maybe shits falling out of the sky and landing on peoples cars?
