there is going to be a Navy federal credit union tent sale going on this weekend i believe oceana.

navy federal is going to be there giving out preapproved checks. in order to qualify for the preapproval you must be a service member, work on base, or have a family member who is an NFCU member or is in the navy.

you DO NOT have to buy a car then at the sale. The check that they give you is good up to 60 days i beleive.

TPJ formerly No Reverse went with me to one of these and at 19 years old without even starting his higher paid job was able to walk out with like 14,000. he had no credit, was very young, but was starting a job at the shipyard so they took care of him.

so for anyone looking at getting a car... if you qualify this can be a great opportunity because NFCU will give higher loans to people that normally wouldnt even qualify.

usually they do like rates at 5.9% which is awsome!

 

i was planning on getting a truck within the next few months, but if they are doing it like that, i may just go ahead and give it a shot, and get something a little sooner

Everyone, I really truely suggest you jump on this deal. Matt took me one of these about 3 months ago, and like he said, I got a loan for 14,000 dollars, with a 5.65% interest rate. I have NEVER been accepted for credit on anything, I'm 19 (currently 20, but was 19 at the time), and at the current time, I did not have a job, I simply had a job letter from NGNN saying I would be starting a job within 2 weeks at 11.06 an hour. They opened an account for me, and gave me a loan that same day.

I've got a couple of friends who will probably check this out Matt, thanks for posting it up.

 

i might have to see if they will refinance my truck. less that 6% is a big enough difference to check it out.
