ATTENTION LEMONDS
Alright theres always a huge group of us that come out EVERY Wed to Langley Speedway, alot of us have even ran out there a number of times. And I know your trying to improve it each and every week, and I must say the Langley crew is doing a hell of a job ... but here are a few things we came up with that may make the night alot more enjoyable for everyone ... and take it in as you want its just constructive critisism
- TURN THE VOLUME DOWN!!!! When your on the mic, or the guy in the box is on the Mic ... turn it down ... its seriously way to loud.
- Dont talk so much (I know you dont want what they call dead air time) but your trying to fill the silence with jokes, and just making yourself look dumb because most of the times the jokes are far from funny, now I will hand it to you ... yall have made me laugh a few times before. But when the people are in the stands trying to carry on conversation about a certain car or driver its pretty much impossible because of the volume and constant jibber jabber on the mic.
- 2 Cars on the track at the same time, yes its a great idea to have the next car pull out when the previous driver is halfway through his run and going through 3 and 4 .... but honestly ... alot of the kids that drive on Wed nights are IDIOTS, and dont pay attention. Then you run into the problems like we all noticed last night with cars taking their sweet time to get back into the pits to taking their time to come out of the pits and start their laps. Id just hate to see a collision because of that.
- What happend to the idea of a donut comp? And if you do decide to go with that, anyway to get notice before hand like post it up on Drag (because DragVA members do make up most of your crowd and racers)
- Now I know this isnt going to happen but just thought id throw it out there. Ive had seats at RIR for 6 years now and I think the thing I look forward to most is the last line of the National Anthem when the jets fly over.
Like Ive stated before, im not bashing what you are doing what so ever, just thought you would want to hear from your crowd and get some feedback. We usually come out with a decent size crowd every week and are definatly thankful that we a place where we can have fun and drive our cars on a nice track. And the show does seem to be improving every week ... but I figured if I didnt throw out the critisism then ... you wouldnt know.

i don't like at the end of the night, the drivers come off the track and into the parking lot. people go up to the drivers and ask questions about their cars then all of a sudden you have a bunch of sheriffs with spot lights on you telling you to leave and get out. i think it would be better if there was a little more time to sit there before the dipshit in the expedition shining his spot light in everyones face

to inform you on this dislike...
In the Driver meeting they are told "to stay in the gas after there run all the way till they get back to the pits"...They stated "dont slow down an lolly gag because there are other cars coming behind to start there run"..So who ever you see almost get hit just was all hyped up about just running and went blank ..Or either just didnt pay attention to a damn thing in the drivers meeting....

the way they run the cars on have been like that for a long time. I would assume that those of you racing would respect each other and get on - then get off the track. .. it would make the runs go thru smoother. If your new at it then watch and learn and follow what everyone else does.
I dont race but i have been watchign races there for a long time seen alot of changes there
the police at after the race might be from many other times that shit has started in the parking lot and doing this it keeps from shit starting... or atleast on their property
