Apartments in VA Beach
Can anyone recommend a nice complex? I've been browsing the last few days but have been finding that most ( Under the $1000/mo ) are coming up with bad reviews on staff and whatnot. Here's what I'm looking for:
- 2 bedroom / 1 bath
- ~$900 base rent
- VA Beach area, prefer something semi-close to Oceana / Kempsville to be more specific. <- And yes I realize that's a fairly large area.
Obviously, with $900/mo being what I'm looking to spend it limits out a lot of the "better" apartments. Or if anyone knows of smaller houses up for rent I'm all up for that too.

Tallwood Apartments Off Kempsville Rd. Nice place to live income restricted (had to lie to get in). But they only check 1 time a year. I belive rent is $780 for 2 bedroom 2 bath and 1000 sw ft. Very spaciuos layout too.
I don't have any good recommendations but I can give you my best advice. As soon as I moved here from FL, my fiance and I lived at Chase Arbor @ South Plaza and Independence Blvd. PLEASE avoid that place at all costs!!! It probably fits into your price range but the units are covered in mold/rats and the "management staff" won't do anything to help you. Sorry I couldn't be more help...

with the housing market the way it is i would suggest finding a decent house in norfolk near the vabeach border and maybe a decent roommate if your single to help cut the cost. my wife and i rented a house before we bought one and paid 1050 a month. check craigslist i guarantee there's a lot there.

I lived there too. Only thing I like about that place was getting random apartment girls naked in the pool all the time.
