every store i went to said that or had a sign saying it, i went to 50 7-11's and only 24 of them carded me (i''m 22) . went to another random eight store and only four carded me.

 

Yep, that would be the one [sign] that I'm talking about. Odd they limit the age to 25 for this position, but, eh.. surprising no one here on driven has made mentioned of age discrimination yet.

Probably not. It is probably corporate offices of the companies being checked hiring them as a way to enforce the policy by firing people who don't do it as sacrificial lambs so the others get the point. That way they are not catching fines when the government comes around to check it.

hmmm, makes sense. Though everytime Ive gone to buy without my ID with me the cashier just uses their own(for beer at a grocery store anyway).
