I need to cancel a bunch of extra shit I got when I bought my car (extra insurance, warranty, etc.) and I swear everyone I've talked to gives me the runaround and makes it tough as fuck to get anything done with it. And I don't want to just force someone to do it and have them fuck it up and then I'm out $3000 without any extra coverage. So if you know someone (preferably in the finance department, but anyone really that I could talk to) and could point me in their direction I would really appreciate it, I need to sell this car and canceling this stuff will help lower the price. Thanks.

 

ask directly for the General Manager. Tell him/her that you have had a poor experience with there dealerships finance department thus far with the cancelation. Tell him that youd hate to have to take it to Thad Nowack or George Ransom. (pres and vice pres)

 

what dealership is it by the way? Honda, Ford, new ect? or used?

 

It was at the Mitsubishi in Newport News. I live right near the border of N.C. now, so I was trying to get it done at the Honda in N.C. but they keep giving me bullshit about it and saying I need to go up to Newport News, which doesn't make any sense to me since it's all the same dealership.

 

Oh god, Hall Mitusbishi. Haha. They are so bad there.They REALLY thought I was young and dumb when I went there to purchase an EVO. Tried to dick me over on my car, as well as the price on a new one. I told them what I wanted, and how I wanted it done. They said they couldn't do that. I simply got my things and left, then the next morning the salesman is seriously blowing up my phone, at least 5 calls in 2 hours saying how he's had a serious talk with the manager and they are willing to work the deal through.

Never called those jokers back.

 

Yeah, it was the first car I ever bought so I know I got raped, drives me nuts when I think about the deal I could've gotten. Oh well, live and learn.

MOST GM's are really nice guys. They will generally get shit done asap. but some are jack asses so hopefully hes a good guy. I worked for Hall for about 4 years selling.
