Im looking to get my Sony dcr-pc1000 fixed for some strange reason it stopped reading the memory card so I can take or story pictures. I have tried replacing the card and nothing. So im looking to have it repaired or atleast looked at so I can take the proper measures.

Its a pretty high end camera so I do not want to put it in the wrong hands.

Here are the specs for anyone who knows a little and could maybe point me in the right direction. Im trying to avoid dealing with Sony,when I put in my request they said repairs could take up to 10 weeks.
