I'm looking for a part to my DC2 JDM headlight. I dropped it when installing it...yeah that was dumb. It fell onto the part that the grill screws into. It broke, and the little black piece with the hole, that the grill actually screws into came off. I lost that piece, and the part that snaps into is still in one piece, but cracked and the black piece won't snap into it. I'm gonna JB weld that back together, and I'm gonna need that black piece. Now I'm not sure if any other Honda cars with grills use the same thing, like a 94-97 Accord, or a 96-00 Civic.



The black piece in the middle of the headlights. If anyone knows if that part is used on any other Honda, or is available through a US Honda dealership, the info would be appreciated.

If anyone here works at Honda/Acura parts and doesn't exactly know what I'm talking about, I can bring my car to your work and see what you can do.

After looking at pictures of headlights, it looks like the 90-93 Accord headlights use the same black piece.

 

damn that sucks..id be heated if that happened to me.

Thanks, I went to Checkered Flag, its its $38 with tax for the back piece to the 93 Accord headlights. I'm just gonna buy one of those and break it to get the piece I need I guess I could goto Japan and buy the back of the Integra headlight...but that'd be slightly more expensive.
