Default Any MK1 MR2 people here??

I haven't seen very many around, I have a couple of MK1 MR2s (both black) and was wondering if there is anybody else around that drives one besides TTG. I also have a spare mr2 that I'm parting out in case you're looking for parts.

I drive an ae86. And I'm looking for a 4agze swap if you have one.

That's probably me you're talking about, but my turbo MK1 is black. I didn't know of any other turbo MK1s around here besides the one that was posted in eye candy a while back, anybody know where that car is?

SlowLS, I installed the GZE engine in my car after I killed my NA engine. I do have the SC and all the misc. stuff.

How much will you get rid of it for? Also, new to the toyotas, so will all that work on a 4age, and be safe? And there is a Red turbo mk1. He raced it at langley last year and won the finals in it. Think his name is Dino or something like that. Toyota Tech geek has a MK1 also, but I think his is still superchargered.

Got you, that's Deno's car and it is in fact turbo just not the 4age engine. Those are the 2 MK1 guys I normally drive around with, very good friends of mine.
The SC will mount to the NA engine but you'll need larger injectors and a way to connect the intake tubbing and all the other stuff. It can be made reliable with a little homework. There are a couple of people on the MR2 board that have done it so let me see if I can dig up the info on that.

the AE86 also has to have a bit of work done to the outlet pipe of the SC to make it work.

So would it just be easier and maybe cheaper or close to the same price to just get a 4agze motor?

Probably, you will need all of the electronics too not just the motor, you'll need at least the igniter, distributor and AFM. If you can't find all of that stuff as a package you'll need a stand alone ecu to make it run right. You'll be better off trying to find a whole rear clip from an MR2 or an imported ae clip.
