I have been speaking with www.racelegal.com in San Diego and have been looking into getting a local drag strip set up here in the Hampton Roads community. I would love to drag race more, but the drive to dinwiddie is too far. I'm thinking something more local like, Norfolk, or Virginia Beach.

Is there any interest in this?
In order for this to work, there would have to be major support from the local muscle/tuner community.

a new track just opend 1/4 mile in n/c this weekend was the first test and tune its on rt 17 8 miles past hertford that all the info i have now

 

A strip in tidewater will never happen, I tried a proposal back in 2002 witht he city of Chesapeake and it got denied!
