im trying to find someone who works at either norfolk or newport news international. im tryin to get a job with an airline as a ground crew guy, fueling planes or something. i just wanna work around airplanes. im goin through withdrawn since i got out of the army. i was an air traffic controller and air crew member for a while. So now im missin working around aircraft. if anyones got any info on some airport jobs let me know

damn.. ATC.. you should have stayed in that field.. mucho bling bling.. mucho stress...

 

yeah thats why im not in that field anymore. i would have made 65,000 starting salary but the stress you gotta deal with kinda makes it not worth it. its a tough job, but i might get back into it. i rather just work around aircraft instead of control them

 

Im in ATC also......not all that stressful of a job......just all the military BS that you have to put up with gets to be a pain. Also switching over from military ATC to civil ATC isint just an even swap unless you go under Phoenix 20 and im even certified through the FAA. I work hand in hand with the Norfolk ATC, shoot me an email or pm and i can drop you some names.......they might be able to help put ya in the right direction over there.

sounds cool man, thanks. Yeah the military bs added to it but i was also at a really busy airfield while i was in so it made for a long day. Im still certified with the FAA but im starting to get a bit rusty and need to freshin up on everything again. its been a year since ive steped foot in a tower

also look up the tsa. thats the security at the airport. starting at 12-14 dollars an hour
