Yeah last night the D seemed to be solid.. We had jesse at 2nd making diving catches (looked like he was going for ESPN play of the day), whatever rocket was hit to the infield within reach of a player was either stopped and made a play or knocked down and not turned into added bases.. Outfield was catching everything that was playable..

Hitting is def what killed us last night.. We started off STRONG.. First 2 hits got us 2 runs.. Then that was it.. NOTHING else basically..

The other team was batting perfectly.. They couldn't place the ball any better then what they did last night.. No matter where you guys stood they managed to hit the ball exactly where you guys weren't standing..

Like steve said.. Team is looking good out there but I think moral is taking a hit once the runs start coming in and the team starts getting behind..

It's softball guys.. Have fun with it! If they get some runs in, shake it off, take it out on the ball the next time up.. That's all you can do.. Lets not let a few runs turn our cheering, yelling, positive attitudes into a *angry at myself* *shoulda did this, shoulda did that* attitude..

Sitting in the dugout, I managed to see exactly how affected everyone was when they were ahead 4-2.. I mean it was like someone had just run over everyone's pets at the same time.. The team went from giving everyone props after innings as you guys filed into the dugout to just coming in there and beating yourselves up..

yessir. i couldnt have said it better. softball has a ton to do with confidence. we're all talented. we have a great team. hes right tho, we cant let a few runs get us down. at any given inning, we can score 5...10 runs. we've got to keep everyone up and and keep it going.

thats fine, i understand that. use it. let it make you play better

i straight sucked at batting last night beside the inside the parker. i think its bc im tryin to hard to place the ball i need to just hit the damn thing. but yea our defense def looked good last night maybe 2 errors i think whihc is pretty good for softball anywyas lets get a win on thurs fellas dont wanna be 1-3

 

yeah, we cant get intimidated and just go out there and play ball.
