300zx w/ V8 swap?
I was pumping gas on Big Bethel in Hampton literally a few minutes ago and could've sworn this maroon 300zx had a V8 exhaust tone. Am I hallucinating or does this thing exist? If so thats pretty crazy and badass

The answer is yes.... its a against everything I believe in but he has a Z32 300ZX with a god awful cowl scoop, but he has a Chevy small block 350 under the hood. He's proud of it, at least thats something. I can think of better engines to put in a NA Z than a 350, like a 4.5L V8 out of a M45(90-93) at least its still Nissan and it makes more power.

These numbers are under rated by Nissan because of the "gentelmans agreement between Japanese car manufacturers. (no car should produce more than 300HP) The actual numbers of the VH45DE are closer to 300HP and 330ft.lb torque.
And this is just a little 4.5L with loads of upgrade room.
276HP @6000RPM
310ft.lb @ 2500RPM

So it makes 250whp. Thats ALMOST as good as a stock LT1 with stupid restrictive exhaust. Almost.
